My grandfather, Ben Trigg, Sr., used to tell us stories about how he’d hop a freight train to Los Angeles, buy a car for cheap while he was down there and then fill it with bootleg whisky to drive back to Issaquah, where he’d sell the booze for a premium. I wonder if he knew about (or was involved in) this stash at Pine Lake…?
